A guide to working with JudoPRO — a professional refereeing system for judo competitions
To use the system you need to sign up. Click the "Sign up" button in the top-right corner and choose an account type:
When creating a tournament, two modes of working with categories are available:
Category builder (recommended)
Custom categories
For children and youth tournaments you can create your own age groups:

An athlete can apply to a planned tournament on their own. Open the tournament page and click "Apply". The organizer will receive a notification and approve or reject the application.
The organizer can add athletes to a tournament directly:
For a fairer draw you can specify seeded athletes (up to 4 per category). Seeds are spread across different quarters of the bracket so they do not meet in the early stages.
After generation you can edit the participants of matches:
The results of each category can be exported to Excel. On the tournament page click "Protocol" next to the desired category.
When repechage matches are used, athletes who lose in the quarterfinals get a second chance:
The operator panel is the main refereeing tool. Access it via the "Refereeing" menu → choose a tournament → tatami → "Operator".
The scoreboard opens in a separate window and is meant for output to a projector or large screen.
The scoreboard syncs with the operator panel instantly:
The operator panel contains a built-in scoreboard. You can:
Shows current and upcoming matches for spectators and participants. Perfect for placing in a lobby or waiting area.
To open: menu "Refereeing" → tournament → "Info screen (all tatami)"
A separate screen with a detailed queue of upcoming matches for each tatami. Shows the category, round and participants. Updates automatically.
To open: menu "Refereeing" → tournament → "Match queue"
Each athlete has a profile with information:
The system supports flags of all countries. Enter the two-letter country code (KZ, RU, JP, etc.) to show the flag on the scoreboard.
Automatic scoring based on hold-down time:
5 seconds → Yuko10 seconds → Waza-ari20 seconds → IpponExtra time in case of a draw. The first score or shido ends the match.
